I Have the CD, How Do I Begin?

Follow the directions
in the CD packet for accessing the SAM 2003 Web site |
 |
Your Product Code and
other important instructions are contained on the packaging that arrived with
your CD; follow those instructions |
 |
If
possible, have your SAM CD with you during the Orientation Session |
 |
IMPORTANT: Your Product Code can be used only once so FOLLOW
THE DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY when you log on for the
first time |
 |
I will create our SAM
course which corresponds to your CPSC 1105 CRN |
 |
As you logon for the
first time, you will build your User Profile and set your user id and
password |
 |
When building your
User Profile, please enter
your last name, the underscore character, then your first name |
 |
When you build your password,
please enter the last 6 digits of your CSU id |
 |

NOT CHANGE YOUR USER ID AND PASSWORD NOR DEVIATE FROM THESE GUIDELINES

Once you have built
your User Profile, you should select the SAM course, then click "Save,"
then click
"Join" to be admitted (all these
steps for joining your SAM course are listed in your SAM 2003 CD packet):

Once you have built
your User Profile, you should click Section, then Join Section, scroll to
find your CRN which begins with the word McQueen, highlight the correct
section, click the arrow to move the section to the frame on the right,
click Save, then note the message that you have successfully joined a
section |
 |
Click on
"Assignments" from the menu bar on the left then look for the two exams McQueenWindows and McQueenIE |
 |
by mistake if you
join the wrong CRN, simply begin the process again, remove yourself from
the incorrect section and select the correct one (if you cannot remove
yourself from the incorrrect section, please contact me so that I may
remove you; it is imperative that you in the correct SAM section) |

Note: these were to
have been completed the first of the semester, however, if you have not
done so, please take them now |

to properly Join the SAM Section, you will not be able to see the exams
created for you |
